Our Mission


It is the mission of the Sanborn/Timberlane Safe and Drug Free Coalition to promote,support and sustain healthy life choices for youth and their families in our communities.

Together we can make a difference

 

We believe that together we can make a positive difference in the lives of youth.We are a parent/community drug prevention organization that remains dedicated to preventing the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs by children. We encourage you to support opportunities that may bring much needed resources for treatment and prevention programs to our community. We invite you to join us in this effort

UPCOMING EVENT YOU ARE INVITED! COALITION QUARTERLY MEETINGS!!! All are welcome and public participation and input is sought. Please join us! Next meeting Wednesday, April 9, 2008 3:30-5 PM at the Timberlane Regional High School,Room 400, Plaistow NH.

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY YOUTH COALITIONS MEETINGS ARE HELD AT THE SAD CAFE THE FIRST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH 9:30-11:30 NEXT MEETING April 1, 2008. All area coalitions or organizations serving youth across town lines invited and encouraged to attend.

 YOU make a difference!

 

 The SAFE HOMES Parents Networkis designed to assist parents and communities in preventing children from using alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, or other drugs.The program is used successfully in many communities across the nation. MEETINGS

All meetings are open to the public and all are invited to attend. Most meetings held at the Sad Cafe, 148 Plaistow Rd ( Route 125)

QUARTERLY MEETINGS-Wednesdays 3:30-5:00 PM Next 2008 Meeting April 9 at the Timberlane Regional High School

 

STEERING COMMITTEE

First Tuesdays of the month 11:30-12:30 at The Sad Cafe

 

EVENTS

 The Coalition is supported in part through funding from the Drug Free Communities Support Program, the Governor's Commission on Alcohol, Drug and Other Substance Abuse Prevention, Intervention and Treatment, the Rockingham County Incentive Funds, NH Division of Juvenile Justice and by the communities of the Sanborn/Timberlane School Districts
